The invention relates to a device for exchanging a die plate of a prilling tower. Molten biphenol A is inserted into the prilling tower by numerous dies situated in the die plate. Said biphenol A is cooled to ambient temperature in order to produce prills. The invention also relates to a method for the automatic exchange of said device.
