<p>There is disclosed an apparatus for determining the weight of a flowable material in a vessel (1) following transfer therein or therefrom, comprising: a support (2); a deformable member (3, 10) attached to the support (2), the member (3, 10) having detection means (12) to detect the extent of deformation; and a vessel (1) attached to the member (3, 10) and arranged such the weight of the vessel (1) and any flowable material therein causes deformation of the member (3, 10); wherein the member (3, 10) has one or more passageways (21, 22) arranged to allow flowable material to flow into or out of the vessel (1).</p> |
