The seal for a plastic window sill into the window opening has a sealing sheet (20) attached to the underside of the sill, with one end clipped under the outer lip (10) of the sill and the other end to the sealing strip (15) which seals onto the window frame (14). The sealing sheet can be moulded in one piece with the sealing strip and secured to the underside of the sill by a ratchet grip.
