PURPOSE: An apparatus for color composition of a reflective type display is provided to make an easy design of a projection lens as adequately reducing size of a BFL and a non-axis angle. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for color composition of a reflective type display includes a reflective type displaying device(12,22,32), a color cube(13), a TIR prism(11,21,31), and a projection lens(14). The reflective type displaying device reflects R, G, and B color lights. The color cube sums the R, G, and B color lights. The TIR prism has a prism angle of 37°C-38°C, makes a transmission of the R, G, and B color lights incident of 39°C-40°C and transmits to the reflective type displaying device, and totally reflects the R, G, and B color lights reflected from the reflective type displaying device and transmits to the color cube. The projection lens makes a transmission of the light summed in the color cube and focuses on the screen.
