PURPOSE: A high pressure carbon dioxide gas supply device utilizing fin or electric heater is provided to achieve improvements of reduced size and lightweight of the pressure device while utilizing fin or electric heater as a source for supplying latent heat of vaporization. CONSTITUTION: A supply device is characterized in that a carbon dioxide bombe(30) contains liquid or gas phase carbon dioxide which expands when entered into a cylinder(70) through a valve(40). The temperature of the expanded carbon dioxide is rapidly dropped, thus cooling down the cylinder(70). Here, if a predetermined heat(latent heat of vaporization) is applied to the cooled cylinder(70), the carbon dioxide in the cylinder converts into gas and discharged via a valve(50), Thus-discharged carbon dioxide is supplied to a device requiring high pressure.
