Absorption core with enhanced capability of entrapping liquids

In the present invention there is disclosed an absorption core consisting in the sequence of its thickness a first structure, comprising an upper layer consisting of a first fibrous material (3) with wet compressibility at least 5 cubic centimeter per one gram and dripping capacity at least 10 ml per one gram. The structure further comprises a first super-absorbing material (5) having substantially non-decreasing dynamic swelling degree. The absorption core further consists of a second structure consisting of a second fibrous material (6) and a second super-absorbing material (7) whose dynamic swelling degree is at least 0.2 g per gram and second and absorption at least 15 g per gram at pressure 4.903 kPa, whereby dynamic swelling degree of the first super-absorbing material (5) is less or equal to 2/3 of the dynamic swelling degree of the second super-absorbing material (7). The absorption core makes it possible to retain liquids of body dejecta in the core and subsequent efficient deposition of that body dejecta.
