A METHOD OF SUBSCRIBER INFORMATION MANAGEMENT IN THE PAGING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for managing subscriber information in a paging system is provided to reduce a wasted memory part caused by unregistered subscribers use by using the allocation of subscriber block as the allocation of subscriber number. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber information database is provided which has a capacity as much as the number of all usable subscriber numbers(a size of subscriber information) and stores the subscriber information. A subscriber location information database is provided which has a capacity as much as the number of post numbers(a size of subscriber location information) and stores the subscriber location information with the post number of subscriber as an index. A prefix database is provided which has a capacity as much as the number of usable prefixes(a size of data in a subscriber location information database) and stores the location information of the subscriber location information database with the prefix in subscriber number as an index. By the prefix of subscriber as an index, location data in the subscriber location information database of the corresponding prefix from the above prefix database are searched. By a post number of subscriber number as an index, location data in the subscriber information of the corresponding subscriber number from the above subscriber location information database are searched. The subscriber information is searched from the above subscriber information database.
