PURPOSE: A socket for a lamp having pins is provided to combine the lamp with the socket or dissemble the lamp from the socket easily, and to securely fix the pins of the lamp on the terminal of the socket. CONSTITUTION: A socket for a lamp having pins according to the present invention includes a body and a member. The body incorporates a terminal connected with the pins of the lamp. The body is to be coupled with the external power supply with the lamp. The member includes a first and second positions. The member is also slidingly movable on the body. The first position presses one side of the pin when the pin is combined with the body. The second position is removed from the pin when the member is slided from the body. The member is moved to the second position when the lamp is to be combined or disassembled in order to facilitate the operation of assembling and dissembling.
