PURPOSE: A structure of a fluorescent layer in a plasma display device is provided to enlarge a discharge space and improve luminance of a plasma display panel by enhancing an adhesive strength of a fluorescent layer. CONSTITUTION: A minute quantity of glass bead(25) of 1-2 micrometers is mixed to fluorescent particles(15) of 3-4 micrometers. A fluorescent layer is formed by printing the mixed material. The glass bead(25) larger than a size of a fluorescent particles(15) sinks on a bottom when the fluorescent layer is dried. The sunk glass bead(25) is distributed around a barrier rib(3). The glass bead(25) within a fluorescent layer(5) is formed between the fluorescent particles(15). Accordingly, an adhesive strength of the fluorescent layer is enhanced.
