The interior panel (40) for a motor vehicle door has a plastics panel (80) on which is mounted a window lifter (60). An elastic stop (100) limits the lateral movement of the glass pane (30). The stop has a naturally concave section which is open to form a contact zone (105) with the glass. The contact zone is spaced from the free end of the stop.
