PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting facsimile data at preset time and a method thereof are provided to set transmission time of facsimile data on user convenience so as to facilitate facsimile transmission. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for transmitting facsimile data at preset time includes a preset member(184), a memory(183), a display(182) and a controller(181). The preset member sets time and the receiver number when the facsimile data is to be transmitted to the receiver. The memory stores the preset number and time. The display displays the preset number and time stored in the memory. The controller generates a control signal which stores the time and number of the transmission set at the preset member in the memory and another control signal which transmits the data which is stored in the memory to the number of facsimile which is stored in the memory at the stored time.
