PURPOSE: Shroud structure of an air suction system is provided to reduce a vortex of air and to increase running of a fan by promoting air turbulence with a groove formed on a sidewall of a shroud. CONSTITUTION: A shroud(103) is mounted in a circumferential direction of a fan(101) to prevent discharge air from flowing back as well as to protect the fan. To promote air turbulence, a radial groove is formed on a sidewall of the shroud. The radial groove has specific width and depth in a radial direction from the center of the shroud. Preferably, the radial groove has width of 0.2-10 degrees from the center of the shroud and depth of 0.1t-0.7t wherein the t is the thickness of the shroud. When a motor(102) is driven, the fan is rotated to suck air with force. The sucked air is discharged again after performing specific function. Most of the air is discharged through the fan but the air between the fan and the shroud generates a vortex by partial pressure difference. Air turbulence is promoted by the radial groove. Therefore, the vortex of air is offset by the turbulence through the radial groove.
