METHOD FOR PROPAGATION DELAY REVISION IN WIRELESS LOCAL LOOP

PURPOSE: A propagation delay clock compensation method in WLL is provided to allow a terminal system to operate in precise synchronism with a clock of a base station by employing a time stamp mechanism of compensating a certain propagation delay. CONSTITUTION: A first difference between RPC_COUNT_20 value transferred from a base station and RIU_COUNT_20 value is obtained. A new RIU_COUNT_20' value with the RPC_COUNT_20 value and a delay time transferred through physical and data link layers is set. Obtained is a second difference between the new RIU_COUNT_20' value and the RIU_COUNT_20 value. A resource manage unit in a network hierarchy calculates a difference between the first difference and the second difference and overwrites it to the RIU_COUNT_20, thereby compensating the propagation delay clock between a terminal system and the base station.
