METHOD FOR SELECTING INITIAL ELECTRONIC PROGRAM GUIDE OF TELEVISION

PURPOSE: A method for selecting an initial electronic program guide of a television is provided to check user access habit to use the checked result for determining initial electronic program guide. CONSTITUTION: A method for selecting an initial electronic program guide of a television includes a first through a forth steps. At the first step(S1), user access habit is checked based on the mode change of user preferred electronic program guide mode. At the second step(S2), user preferred electronic program guide mode is searched by connecting to stored electronic program guide mode when the electronic program guide mode is turned on. At the third step(S5), initial electronic program guide mode is set by using the searched electronic program guide mode as an initial mode. At the forth step(S7), the initial electronic program guide mode is displayed on the television screen.
