PURPOSE: A method for displaying an image and a guide menu on one screen and an apparatus for doing the same are provided to enable a user to control overlapped images by a special key in order to increase user convenience. CONSTITUTION: A method for displaying an image and a guide menu on one screen includes following steps. At the first step, a guide menu is selected(201). At the second step(202), the selected guide menu is displayed on the image currently displayed on the screen. At the third step(204), a blend level of the image and the guide menu is changed when a particular key signal is input. The display state of the guide menu is changed according to the key input. The third step further includes a step of showing the guide menu only, a step of overlapping the guide menu on the image, and a step of showing the image only. |
