PURPOSE: Provided is an artificial heart including a pushing device gradually pushing ventricles of the heart, which lets blood be pumped from the ventricles to the lung or capillary vessels to the highest degree without destruction of the blood and can be maintained for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The heart comprises a case(5) having a right and a left ventricles(3,1) of the heart which are incline at a fixed degree and corresponding to each other inside, a driving motor(7) placed at a top part of the case and operated by power source, a pushing device(17) rotated with a driving axis of the motor and placed between the right and the left ventricles, and a blood flow control device controlling the blood to be flowed only along inlets(13,15) or discharge ports(9,11) of the ventricles. The pushing device is incline to be opposite to the inclination of the left or the right ventricles for pumping out blood from the ventricles gradually and to the highest degree and pushing the right and the left ventricles alternately from one side to the other side to a fixed degree.
