PURPOSE: A cathode-ray-tube is provided to extinguish or shield an inappropriate electromagnetic wave generated from a deflection yoke by a wrapping graphite applied on a funnel and an extended conductive layer. CONSTITUTION: A cathode-ray-tube comprises a panel(11), a funnel(14), a conductive layer(21) and a radiation material(22). The funnel is adhered to the panel to which a wrapping graphite is applied and a deflection yoke(13) is established. The conductive layer shields a harmful electromagnetic wave, applied to an external surface of the funnel with the deflection yoke mounted. The radiation material radiates far-infrared rays, formed on the conductive layer.
