METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BY-STABLE VALVE AND COMPRESSOR OF REFRIGERATOR

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a by-stable valve and a compressor of a refrigerator is provided to prevent a damage of a plunger of the by-stable valve due to a pressure of refrigerant discharged from the compressor by restoring the operation state of the compressor after converting the by-stable valve, thereby expanding a life span of the by-stable valve. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a by-stable valve and a compressor of a refrigerator includes the steps of determining whether the compressor is operating or not when converting the by-stable valve(S20), controlling a rotation number of the compressor to reduce a pressure at a discharge part of the compressor if the compressor is operating(S30), delaying a reference time period for sufficiently reducing the pressure at the discharge part of the compressor after controlling the rotation number of the compressor(S40), converting the by-stable valve after the delaying(S50), and restoring the operation state of the compressor to an initial state after the converting of the by-stable valve(S60).
