PURPOSE: An apparatus for cleaning a transfer roller and an optical photoreceptor of a printer is provided to collect residual impurities or waste ink on the transfer roller or the optical photoreceptor by a cleaning roller rotating in a close contact with the transfer roller, thereby improving printing quality. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cleaning a transfer roller and an optical photoreceptor of a printer includes a cleaning roller(110) mounted for rotating in a close contact with an outer periphery of the transfer roller(61), a heat source mounted in the cleaning roller for heating an outer periphery of the cleaning roller, and a detaching element for making the cleaning roller contacted or separated from the outer periphery of the transfer roller, wherein the outer periphery of the cleaning roller is formed of a material of which surface energy is higher than the outer periphery of the transfer roller, and the detaching element includes inner and outer frames(131,133), an elastic element, a first driving motor(136), a first driving gear(137) and a cam gear(138).
