The invented cable chain (1) forms a loop with two branches (5, 6) moving at least partially on each other and serving for location and guiding electric cables, hydraulic hoses and the like lines that are moving and forming an equipment of machines or power fed parts thereof. The cable chain (1) consists of chain links (2) being provided on outer side of at least one side wall (4) thereof with guide stops (11, 17, 19, 26) for opposite branch (5, 6) of the cable chain (1). The guide stops (11, 17, 19, 26) can perform a restricted movement in a plane being perpendicular to the plane of the cable chain (1) and they prevent during movement of its branches (5, 6) on each other the crossing of the cable chain (1) or deflection of branches (5, 6) thereof.
