PURPOSE: A split type freezing device of a refrigerator is provided to accommodate a plurality of components in a signal case and couple the case detachably with a main body of the refrigerator, thereby substituting the freezing device of the main body separately as necessary. CONSTITUTION: A split type freezing device of a refrigerator includes a case(21) received in a receiving part(6) detachably coupled with a main body(1) of the refrigerator formed with a storage chamber(2), a partitioning plate(23) for dividing an inside space of the case into a cooling chamber(25) and a machine room(24), a stirring freezer(40) mounted in the machine room and provided with high and low temperature heat exchange parts(51,50), a heat exchanger(30) mounted in the cooling chamber and having a refrigerant tube and a plurality of cooling fins, a jacket part(26) surrounding an outside of the low temperature heat exchange part and connected with inlet and outlet refrigerant tubes(27a,27b) at both end parts, ambient air inlet and outlet(32,33) separatedly formed at one side of the machine room for cooling the high temperature heat exchange part, an ambient air circulation fan(28) mounted in the machine room for forcibly circulating the ambient air, cool air inlet and outlet(34,35) communicating with inlet and outlet channels(7,8) of the storage chamber, and a cool air circulation fan(29) mounted at one side of the cooling chamber for forcibly circulating the cool air of the storage chamber.
