PURPOSE: An automatic paper supplier is provided to increase paper supply reliability by being prevented from discontinuing paper supply and dropping paper and to increase paper loading stability. CONSTITUTION: A paper strut and dam friction are parallel with each other in the maximum tensile state of a compressed coil spring(22). In this state, paper is loaded on a frame(10) and the paper is contacted with a paper strut(24), pushed by a pickup roller(116). Thus, the paper strut and a dam friction(20) rotate clockwise against elastic force of the compressed coil spring with paper weight. Then, the angle between the parallel paper strut and dam friction and the loaded paper is reduced less than the obtuse angle. Thereby, the paper is prevented from dropping and paper loading stability is increased.
