METHOD FOR PREPARING OIL ABSORBING MATERIALS USING FEATHER AND OIL ABSORBING MATERIALS PREPARED THEREBY

PURPOSE: A method for preparing an oil absorbing materials using feather and an oil absorbing materials prepared thereby which floats on the water well and absorbs oil excellently so that it efficiently and rapidly removes various oils spilled on the water surface are provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing an oil absorbing materials comprises processes of: (a) continuous feather supplying process which comprises steps of: (i) arranging transferred pulverized feather in a regular thickness; (ii) separating lumped feather from step (i) to be scattered; and (iii) scattering the scattered feather; (b) feather transfer process where the feather supplied from the step (a)(iii) is uniformly laminated and adhered to the whole upper surface of the synthetic fiber cloth; (c) multiple feather layering process where the feather laminated fiber cloth supplied from the step (b) is multiply layered in zigzags; and (d) upper and lower parts packing process where the upper and lower sides of the multiply layered feather laminated fiber cloth is packed by the upper and lower parts of non woven fabric.
