Polypeptides and pharmaceutical preparations containing thereof

In the present invention there are disclosed novel polypeptides of the general formula I, in which A represents a hydrogen atom or Phe, B represents Phe or Trp and C represents Ile, Leu or Ser. The invented polypeptides exhibit activity of a pulmonary surface-active substance and can be prepared in extremely pure state and as far as efficiency is concerned they match natural pulmonary surface-active substances. Furthermore they are suitable for preparing pharmaceutical preparations for treating syndrome of breathing deficiency in new-borns and adults.
