In the present invention there are described 2,3-trans-disubstituted tropane derivatives of the general formula I or any mixture thereof or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, methyl, ethyl or propyl, Re3 represents {CHi2-X-Rˆ} wherein C represents oxygen, sulfur, Rˆ represents methyl, ethyl, isopropyl or cyclopropylmethyl, Re4 represents phenyl that can be once or several times substituted with a substituent being selected from a group comprising a halogen, CFi3, and CN. These tropane derivatives are used for preparing a medicament intended for treating disorders or disease of live animal body, including human body, where the disorder or the disease reacts to inhibition of resorption of monoamine neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. In the present invention there is also claimed a process for preparing the above indicated 2,3-trans-disubstituted tropane derivatives.
