SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING CODE

PURPOSE: A system and method for capturing code is provided to capture high speed codes in a CDMA receiver equipped with a matched filter(13,23) of simple circuit structure. CONSTITUTION: A system and method for capturing code includes following steps. The signals of the received channel 1 and channel Q are sampled and saved, and simultaneously the PN code lines as long as the sampling of the received signals. The saved value after sampling is multiplied by the saved PN lines and the multiplied value is compared with a pre-set threshold value. The multiplied value is saved according to the comparison result, and the saved multiplied value is updated step by step within the length of symbol of the received signal. The updated value within the length of symbol of the received signal is compared with the pre-set peak threshold value for capturing codes. The signal for capturing codes is output according to the result.
