PURPOSE: A display apparatus of an image forming device is provided to utilize a latch circuit having no clear terminal for directly driving a light emitting part without using a plurality of reversers, thereby simplify the circuit arrangement. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus of an image forming device includes a latch part(34) for recording display signals transmitted via a data signal line from a control part(21) in accordance with clock signals input via a clock signal input terminal and maintaining the recorded signals to output, a light emitting part(36) to be driven by the signals output from the latch part for displaying information corresponding to the display signals with a plurality of light emitting elements, and a latch signal selective generation part(40) for outputting system clock signals to be used in the control part to the clock signal input terminal of the latch part from the beginning of power supply to a predetermined system initiating period, and outputting the latch signals for controlling the display of the display signals to the clock signal input part after the system initiating period.
