Process for preparing ice particles from water, apparatus for making same and use of ice particles produced in such a manner

A process for producing ice particles from water is characterised in that water is distributed dropwise into a bath of liquid gas and in that the ice particles are removed from the bath in the form of dropwise frozen water. Also disclosed is a device for carrying out the process and the use of the ice particles for cooling concrete.
