PURPOSE: A multiple battery charger and method for charging control is provided to charge multiple batteries inserted in a pocket in response to different types of the batteries. CONSTITUTION: A multiple battery charger and method for charging control includes pocket A that the first battery can be inserted in. The second battery is inserted in pocket B. A control unit recognizes the types of batteries that can be inserted into the pockets and outputs control signals to set charge voltage applicable to the detected battery type. A voltage adjust unit receives a control signal to set the charge voltage of the control unit and adjusts the voltage level applicable to the recognized battery type. A power source supply control unit supplies the output voltage adjusted in the voltage adjust unit to the first battery, and drops the charge voltage adjusted in the voltage adjust unit to a specific level and supplies to the second battery.
