PURPOSE: An adjusting device for a DVD(Digital Video Disk) player is provided to secure reliability on reading information of a DVD by using mechanical mechanism forming a CD player. CONSTITUTION: A pickup(P) is linearly moved along straight guide shafts(2,3) fixed on a main base(1). A spindle motor(M) is installed on the main base while having a turntable(T). A motor base(7) includes a fixing shaft(4) and a first adjusting shaft(5) connecting the spindle motor to the main base while being vertically protruded from a moving direction of the pickup. The motor base includes second adjusting shaft(6) protruded to parallel direction of the moving direction of the pickup. A hole(8) is formed on the main base for supplying a reference location for rotation of the motor base. An adjusting shaft moving instrument moves first and second adjusting shafts up and down for the main base.
