MANDRIL FOR STORING THE REST PART OF OPTICAL JUMPER CORD

PURPOSE: A mandril for storing the rest part of the optical jumper cord is provided to simplify the drawing of the stored optical jumper coil by a loose fit through a mandril's own elasticity, to maximize the mounting density by storing several plies of optical jumper cord in division and also to make it easy to sort the core line of the jumper cord rolled up. CONSTITUTION: A mandril(10) for storing the rest part of optical jumper cord when connecting an optical connecter is formed to have a cylinder shape of a certain length and diameter with a side space to have the optical jumper cord, adhering to the optical wiring at a right angle. To prevent the optical jumper cord from tracking out, the certain height of side blades(50) are formed in all directions of the side of the mandril(10). Between each side blade(50) at least one partition plate(60) is formed to make it easy to sort the core line of the jumper cord rolled up around the external circumference.
