PURPOSE: A DRAM with increased data output driver current is provided to share a pull-up transistor and a pull-down transistor of 8 unused data output buffers with the pull-up transistor and the pull-down transistor of 8 used data output buffers in order to increase the data output drive current. CONSTITUTION: The DRAM with increased data output driver current includes at least two data output drivers, at least two data bus sense amplifiers(11), at least two read data transfer device(12), the first switch, the second switch and a control signal generator. The data output drivers delay a data signal and outputs the result to an input or output pin. The data bus sense amplifiers sense and amplify the data transferred to the data bus line. The read data transfer device receive the signal from the data bus sense amplifier and output the signal to gates of the pull-up and pull-down transistors. The first switch performs switching between the output line of the odd-numbered data bus sense amplifier and an input line of the read data transfer device. The second switch performs switching between the input line of the even-numbered data bus sense amplifier and the input line of the odd-numbered read data transfer device. The third switch performs switching between the input/output line of the even-numbered data bus sense amplifier and the input/output line of the odd-numbered data bus sense amplifier.
