Drive string for a motor vehicle which can be automated consists of a friction clutch (11) the input joint (18) of which is connected to the output shaft (14) of a drive motor. A step drive (12) has several sets of gears (28-36,80) corresponding to gear levels (R,1,2,3,4,5). A first shaft (16) is connected to the output shaft of the drive motor. A second, hollow shaft (22) is connected to the output joint (20) of the clutch. The drive also has a reduction gear shaft (26) and drive output shaft (24). One gearwheel (72) of the gear set (70) can be moved into a position for driving the second drive input shaft which can be connected to the drive output shaft. A further gearwheel (74) of the same gear set can be moved into a position for driving a side shaft (76) which is separate from the reduction gear shaft and can also be connected to the drive output shaft. |
