METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTING PACKETS IN MULTI-CHANNEL PROCESSOR

PURPOSE: A method for distributing packets in a multi-channel processor is provided to prevent the packets from being delayed by optimally distributing the packets which inputs a router positioned within the multi-channel processor. CONSTITUTION: A method for distributing packets in a multi-channel processor, comprises the steps of: receiving each packet from higher processors; analysing a header of the received packets; and routing the packets by distributing into pre-allocated virtual channel or communication channel, according to the analysis.
