In the present invention there is disclosed an insulating board (1) or a table of mineral wool being reinforced by a flat unit with open pores, covering at least one main surface of the insulating board. In the insulating board surface there is inserted by mean of a shaped connection a unit (2) with open pores with big eyes, whereby mineral wool is pressed in cavities of the unit (2) with open pores in thew insulating board surface area. Process for producing the above-described insulating board (1) is characterized in that one or more layers of mineral wool stacked one onto another and with the unit (2) with open pores placed at least on one main surface are passed through a device producing compression forces, preferably through creping device.
