In a throttle valve (4) socket (2) made of plastic material it is necessary to prevent undesired shrinking within the region of the throttle valve (4) swing and to seal location mechanisms (53, 54) against penetration of plastic material during injection moulding process. This is achieved by a ring-shaped insertion part (56) that is arranged within the region of the throttle valve (4) swing and in connection with the location mechanisms (53, 54) it is inserted in the plastic-made throttle valve (4) socket (2), where it protects the location mechanisms (53, 54) against penetration plastic material. The injected insertion part (56) is suitable for throttle devices (1) made of plastic material and adapted for internal combustion engine with compressed mixture being ignited from outside or with compressed air a self-ignition.
