INK-JET COLOR FILTER LCD APPARATUS AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An ink-jet color filter LCD apparatus and a fabricating method thereof are provided to form an ink-jet color filter using a resist for source/drain electrode patterns of a LCD apparatus as a spacing wall. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal layer is formed between first and second substrates. Data and gate lines, which define a pixel area are formed on the first substrate. A TFT is formed on the first substrate. A wall spacing a resist for source/drain electrode(110a,110b) patterns is formed on the source/drain electrode of the TFT. An ink-jet color filter layer is formed between the walls spacing a resist for the source/drain electrode patterns. A pixel electrode is connected to the source/drain electrode.
