METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SUPERVISORY CONTROL

PURPOSE: A method and device for supervisory control is provided to enable users to directly upload data obtained from ModBus using a bus of Verse Module Eroupe Bus. CONSTITUTION: A method and device for supervisory control includes a higher system(100) and a repeater(200). A higher system(100) is equipped of a Remote Terminal Unit(RTU)(10a) which functions for communication. A remote terminal unit(10a) includes a controller(11) which outputs controlling orders and an interface(12) which encodes data according to the order from a controller(11). A primary transmission line(10c) transmits orders of designating memory address and the number of points to an interface(12). A secondary transmission line(13) encodes and transmits data to a repeater(200). A primary transmission line(10c) comprises a verse module eroupe bus(VME Bus), and a secondary transmission line(13) comprises a ModBus. A interface(12) checks orders from a controller(11), and when the address of a repeater(200) for communicating with the designated memory of an interface through a primary transmission line(10c) and the number of points and memory address are designated an interface(12) encodes data that is proper for the protocol of a secondary transmission line(13) and outputs signals to a repeater(200).
