PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling the group management of an elevator are provided to improve the performance of the entire group management system by predicting a target floor and the arrival time of the elevator. CONSTITUTION: A unit(100) for predicting the number of getting in/off people predicts the number of getting in/off people on each floor based on data. Herein, the data is supplied from a data storing and statistically processing unit(20) and a data collection unit(10). A unit(200) for calculating the predictive number of stop calculates the predictive number of stop per call based on the data from the unit(100) for predicting the number of getting in/off people. A unit(300) for predicting a call judges on which floor the elevator stops based on a result from the unit for calculating the predictive number of stop.
