LASER DIODE MOUNTING APPARATUS OF PICK-UP UNIT

PURPOSE: A laser diode mounting apparatus of a pick-up unit is provided to prevent occurrence of a defect to a pick-up unit in advance by properly compensate a phase difference between the pick-up unit and a disk by varying a laser diode. CONSTITUTION: A head part(41) of a can-type laser diode(40) is inserted into a mounting hole(110) of a holder(100). Then, the head part (41) is conveyed along the mounting hole(110), and at the same time, a flange(42) is mounted at a support jaw(140) of the holder(100). IN this state, the holder(100) is mounted at the lower portion of the pick-up unit(30), so that the laser diode(40) can be easily placed on the pick-up unit(30).
