PURPOSE: A synchronous rectifier is provided to keep a stable state regardless of the output signals of a zero current detecting unit for the section recognized as an excessive state by a normal state detecting unit(20). CONSTITUTION: A synchronous rectifier includes followings. Positive voltage authorized to the primary side is switched by the operation of the primary transistor and induced to be output to the secondary side. A zero current detecting unit(10) detects the zero state of the current running through the secondary side of the transformer(T). A secondary transistor turns on and off the path of the current running through the secondary side of the transformer(T) by the detected signal generated from the zero current detecting unit(10). A normal state detecting unit(20) discriminates if the state of voltage is normal after receiving the output voltage(Vo) of the transformer(T) and generates the discrimination signal. A delay device delays for a specific period and supplies the signal generated from the zero current detecting unit(10) and the normal state detecting device to the operation control signal(Pa,Pb) of the secondary transistor.
