ROTATING STRUCTURE OF TURN TABLE IN MICROWAVE OVEN

PURPOSE: Structure for rotating a turn table of a microwave oven is provided to prevent wear due to slip of rollers and a turn table caused by difference of linear velocity of the rollers. CONSTITUTION: In turn table rotating structure, a turn table(21) is installed in the lower end of a cavity and a coupler(22) eccentrically rotating by centering on an eccentric portion(22b) to which a rotating shaft(42) of a motor is inserted is installed in the lower portion of the turn table. A first roller having the radius of rotation and second and third rollers having the radius of rotation are installed to roll and contact between the turn table and the bottom of the cavity. Diameter(D) of the first roller is larger than diameter(d) of the second and third rollers of which linear velocity is lower than that of the first roller for the same rotational frequency. A protruded portion(21a) having height the same as the difference between the diameters of the rollers is radially formed at least one of the lower face of the turn table and the bottom of the cavity where the second and third rollers contact by rolling. According to the difference between the diameters of the rollers for same rotational frequency of the rollers depending on the same angular velocity, rolling contact is smooth. Therefore, wear due to slip of the rollers and the turn table is avoided.
