PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush gentle to the gums but capable of surely brushing the teeth themselves by dividing the head of a toothbrush to three parts, and making the inside head hard and the heads on both sides soft to impart two hard and soft characteristics to the toothbrush. SOLUTION: The head part of a toothbrush is divided into three parts, both side parts 1 are set soft, and the center part 2 is set hard, whereby the respective elasticities can be imparted to the head. Accordingly, one toothbrush can have both hard and soft characteristics, and the hardness of the brush and the hardness of the head are used in combination, whereby a toothbrush gentle to the gums but capable of surely brushing the teeth themselves can be provided.
