PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella bag allowing an umbrella shorter than the bag to be inserted and fixed at a position from which the umbrella can be easily taken out, preventing the top of the umbrella from touching the bottom of the bag to reduce the probability of breaking the bag. SOLUTION: Partitions 3 and 4 are attached inside this hollow umbrella bag 2 with angles to side surfaces 6 and 7, respectively, and the width of space between each partition and the side surface 6 or 7 is different from each other. As a short umbrella is inserted into the narrower space and a longer one into the wider space, the handle of any umbrella of any length can be maintained nearly at the opening of the bag so that the handle can be easily taken out without regard to the length of the umbrella. As the position of the umbrella is fixed by bringing the umbrella into contact with the partition 3 or 4 and the side surface 6 or 7, the top of the umbrella will not touch the bottom of the umbrella bag, so that partial breaking of the bag will be prevented, reducing the probability of breaking the bag.
