PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a small size inverter apparatus at a low cost by controlling ON and OFF the one upper-/lower-arms of a single phase bridge inverter circuit with a drive signal of the first signal wave, and then controlling ON and OFF the other upper-/lower-arms of a single phase bridge inverter circuit with a drive signal of the second signal wave. SOLUTION: When an output voltage of a single phase bridge inverter circuit has positive polarity, Q2 starts the operation to become OFF from ON, while Q1 starts the operation to become OFF from ON in such a timing that a triangular carrier signal Vc and first signal wave are in the relationship of the first signal wave >Vc in the first comparison arithmetic circuit 16. When the triangular carrier signal Vc and second signal wave are in the relationship of the second signal wave >Vc in the second comparison arithmetic circuit 17, Q4 starts the operation to become OFF from ON and Q3 starts the operation to become OFF from ON. As a result, the inverter as a whole can be reduced in size and formed in the low price. |
