摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost lithium ion secondary battery. SOLUTION: A positive electrode active material layer 12 is formed on a positive electrode collector 10, and arranged oppositely to a negative electrode collector 16 through a separator 14, and these are stored inside an armoring can 18 shielded from the outside by an airtightness retaining gasket 20. A negative electrode active material layer is not formed on the negative electrode collector 16, to thereby aim cost reduction of this lithium ion secondary battery. An irregular structure is formed on the surface of the negative electrode collector 16, to thereby suppress falling-off of a lithium metal deposited thereon. Namely, cost reduction of this lithium ion secondary battery can be aimed by omitting the negative electrode active material layer. Falling-off of the lithium metal deposited thereon can be suppressed by forming the irregular structure on the surface of the negative electrode collector.
