PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric assisting device for a motor assisted bicycle. SOLUTION: Charging of a storage battery is conducted during the running with a generator mounted on a bicycle equipped with a motor assist. This charging of battery is performed when the auxiliary drive part of the bicycle is out of function, for example on a down-slope.
