<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate/reduce odor generated from the anaerobic decomposition of organic matter by microorganisms, to promote preventive effect on the emergence of weeds in paddy fields and to prolong the manuring effect of an organic fertilizer. SOLUTION: The addition of a waste vegetable oil to materials such as vegetable oil cake from soybeans, rapeseed or the like, chaff and bran from barley bran or the like, and a flaking material from waste wheat or the like leads to the mitigation/reduction of various kinds of bad smells generated from the anaerobic decomposition of the above materials by microorganisms. The addition of vegetable oil to organic materials prevents the rapid propagation of microorganisms and causes reaction effect between stinking substances and fatty acids.</p> |
