PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a dimethyl ether(DME)/methanol mixture rich in DME from a replenishing flow of a synthesis gas containing H2/CO/CO2 which are substantially balanced stoichiometrically. SOLUTION: This method comprises: (a) a step in which a synthesis gas flow is passed through a cooling reactor containing a catalyst having an activity for producing methanol from the synthesis gas to produce an effluent enriched in methanol; (b) a step in which the effluent from the step (a) is brought into contact with a catalyst having an activity dehydration reaction, to produce a flow of a synthesis gas further enriched in DME; (c) a step in which the flow of synthesis gas rich in DME is taken out from the step (b), and it is separated into a flow of DME/methanol production mixture rich in DME and a flow of a partly converted synthesis gas; and (d) a specified amount of the flow of the partly converted synthesis gas is recycled, and it is combined to a synthesis gas replenishing flow to form the synthesis gas flow of the step (a). |
