PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an ink cup by providing a narrow tip end surface which defines the open end section of the ink cup, on a doctor section, constituting the tip end surface in a manner to perform a doctor engagement by sliding and hermetically closing a confronted gravure surface, and at the same time, forming the doctor section using a polymer which shows sufficient rigidity and chemical-resistance or the like. SOLUTION: This ink cup 22 which is attached to the upper side of a cliche 16, is equipped with an openable bottom section in order to freely feed an ink to a gravure surface on the cliches 16, and also, a doctor section 24 is provided around the open lower end section of the ink cup 22 for the constitution. Then, the doctor section 24 which always forms a seal to maintain the ink feeding in the ink cup 22, has a narrow tip end surface which is fixed to the open end section of the ink cup 22 and defines the open end section. The tip end surface has a configuration wherein the tip end surface is doctor- engaged with the gravure surface by sliding and hermetically closing a confronted gravure surface. In addition, the doctor section 24 is formed of a polymer which shows sufficient rigidity, compression strength, wear-resistance and chemical-resistance. |
